For a few years I’ve been trying to rewrite a couple of chapters in my life. I haven’t felt so miserable for so long now, this feeling that I have is eating me up from the inside. It scares me to know that I am no longer afraid to die; if I was to die tomorrow then I’m completely fine with it, living is something that I drag. I don’t want to sound too emotional here nor do I want to tell people to go take their life if they’re unhappy; but I just want people to know that you should never judge people’s lives and assume that its all good and dainty. If I can trade everything that I have and give it to the less fortunate or even simply trade my life for another, I would. I know I can’t choose my family, my parents, my siblings or anything like that; but I can choose the life that I wish to live, that life that I wish to live seems to be so far from my grasp now. I’ve lost it; lost all of my inspiration and motivation to continue on with my aspirations. I’ve always told myself to make my struggles define who I am, take all the struggles from the past and use it to make myself stronger; but now I feel like why do I need to keep on struggling till this day. Why should I let one person drag me down and hold me down? “Don’t ever let anyone hold you back,” people always say that but it’s so hard when that the person that is holding you back is someone that brought life to you in this world.

Kelly from jnkcontactlenses.com was kind enough to send me this pair of circle lens to try out and complete a review. I was excited to try out the Vivi Eye Nature in pink mainly because I’ve been loving pink circle lenses. I’m trying to move away from my comfort zone and try some bold and bright colors. Yet at times I still want that subtle look and I felt that these lenses were in between subtle and a little dramatic.
The design of these circle lenses are very simplistic, it’s nothing too crazy but it is a little different from most designs. Usually most circle lenses have a thick outer rim color where it would create an enlarging effect; ho
wever these lenses has tiny thick lines all around the lens to have that “outer rim” effect. I don’t really know hot to describe it but I will include a picture so you can have a better look at it and judge for yourself. The rest of the design is minimal, there was just tiny more lines and specks of brown, yellow, and pink and then it fades into a clear color which blends into your natural eye color. Since these lenses were pink I was hoping that there would be more pink within the lens. I was disappointed that there were more yellow and brown than pink; but overall the color of these lenses were pretty. I suppose it had more yellow and brown than pink so these lenses can be more subtle to wear.
Lastly, these lenses are so comfortable! No lie they feel like you have nothing over your eyes. The Vivi Eye Nature has a water content of 56% and that is a lot of water content compared to many other circle lenses that’s out there. I was very impressed with the water content percentage and comfort of these lenses. Oh I also notice that on the website it said that these lenses are 18.8mm in diameter but I think they’re 16mm instead of 18.8mm. Yet, these lenses are still very large and provides that enlarging effect (:

LensVillage.com was kind enough to send me a pair of pink circle lens to try out and review. I’ve always wanted to try out a pair of pink circle lens and I was happy that they were able to give me an opportunity to try them.
The pair of circle lens I got were the DM-23 Kira Kira from Dueba in the color pink. These circle lens are very large, they’re bigger than your average size circle lens. The diameter of these circle lens are 16mm so they might be a bit uncomfortable for those that aren’t use to this size; however, when I wore them I thought they were pretty comfortable and I didn’t even notice having the feeling of contacts on. Next I would like to talk about is the design of the lens. The design of the lens is very simplistic and its not dramatic at all. I can’t really describe the shape of the design but I shall include a picture down below so you guys can have a look at it. Overall, I thought the design was great and the color was absolutely amazing. The shade of pink in these lenses aren’t too bright and not too light, its in between. I was surprised that the color actually showed up over my dark brown eyes.
In the end I was happy with these circle lens. They were comfortable and the design was simple yet noticeable over my dark brown eyes.

I am pretty content with my life right now. I am happy and once again I’m feeling a bit ambitious. I’m not going to lie for the past two years I lost my inspiration and motivation to do well in my academics. I can’t be a pharmacological chemistry major and half ass my way through college and expect myself to make it into pharmacology school or medical school. Being away from home took my focus off of what I really wanted, not seeing my mother everyday made me forget what I was living for. Yes, that sounds so corny and cliche but its true. After all, my college application essay was based on my mother; based on her dreams and my aspirations. My relationship with my mother is to die for, I know people would kill to have the type of closeness that I have with my mother. I want you to get that, get that through your head; I live for my mother and my happiness comes from my mother. Like I said, I am pretty content with my life right now.
I don’t need to be in a relationship with anyone at this point of time. I’m sorry that you’re unhappy and that you’re waiting for me. If you choose to wait for me then go for it but don’ expect me to still be “girlfriend material” for you. Don’t expect me to make you happy, how can you expect me to make you happy when you can’t seem to make yourself happy? It’s been two months and I’ve held my head up high and smiled. I even told you to go live your life and do your own thing and if you want to be in a relationship and feel that special commitment between a person, you can go ahead and seek someone else. I don’t want to be in a relationship, I don’t have time to be in a relationship. I want to work in a lab being someone’s lab assistant right now. I want to work and feel like an adult. I want to go to school and get that degree. I want to feel like I’m doing something productive with my life. I’m pretty content right now with my life. You might say that I’m content because you’re not in my life, but its not like that at all. You say that I can live without you but then I can say the same thing, you can life without me. In life people can live without each other, because if you’re able to live without someone that makes you stronger in a way doesn’t it? I just haven’t included you in my life right now because where would you stand? I told you we can be friends, we can be close friends, we can be bestfriends but we cannot be boyfriend and girlfriend. I don’t want a relationship right now. I don’t want a commitment where I need to talk to you all the time and see you all the time. My schedule is full.
Being a science major requires you to sacrifice your life, sacrifice your social life, sacrifice the things that is “fun.” The past two years I didn’t sacrifice anything that’s why I haven’t gotten far. I wish you can understand that and understand how serious I am when it comes to the career that I wish to pursue yet also understand the type of relationship that I wish I can have with my family. When you told me that leaving my family for a bit to see you is not a big deal was almost like a stab in my heart. Family is always a big deal to me because family will always be there for me. You can tell me that you will always be there for me but you will never be there like my family will. You haven’t accepted the real things that I need to do to accomplish the things I want in life. There are things that I chose to give up and that was our relationship because I knew you were going to either hold me back and not understand what I really want. Call me selfish but what I want in life really bad right now is that pharmacological chemistry degree, I want that paper. I don’t see why you can’t seem to just be my friend and just have a friendship with me. If we were meant to be then we will cross paths again in the future.
Also, don’t think that I don’t think about you. I do. I remember the good times we had and the memories we had. The “honey moon” stage and all the bad times and arguments. We had something good. But I choose not to dwell on what we had so much because it would make me sad. Like I said I am pretty content with my life right now, so I don’t choose to be sad. I’ve said it once and plenty of times before I want to start a fresh clean slate, where we can just talk and see where it would lead us. But I don’t want to be in a relationship right now. I don’t want to feel obligated to talk to you all the time and to inform you on every little detail of my life. Come on, I don’t even tell Lisa everything.
I am pretty content with my life right now. I wish you can understand that and realize that its not because you’re not here its because I’m doing something. I’m trying to be independent with my pocket full of dreams. I’m sorry that I can’t fit you in all the time I just wish you can be as happy as I am. Be happy on your own, be happy with those around you, be happy with your friends, just be happy. I’m sorry that I can’t make you happy, but technically you’re not making me happy either, I’m just happy on my own. Like I said I’m pretty content with my life right now, the only type of relationship that I would wish to pursue with you is as friends or close friends; maybe one day we can have what we used to have.

The color and design of these lens are just gorgeous; even though they’re grey I thought that these lens looked very subtle. The design of the lens is very pretty, it has both dark grey and lighter grey colors within the design. The design of the lens looks pretty simple but it does have spots or even strip like darker grey areas.
The comfort of these lens are very comfortable! I personally think NEO lens are more comfy than GEO lens (: when these lens on it doesn’t even feel like you have any contacts on.
